We would like to thank everyone who completed a survey or dropped in at one of our Listening Posts. You can view a summary of the results of the community engagement HERE.

Submissions relating to the Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan can be provided until Thursday 3 November.
Your feedback will help to ensure that the draft Plan reflects both the comments made during the engagement period, and the needs of the South Gippsland community.

Background:
Under the Domestic Animals Act 1994, every Victorian local government must prepare a Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP) outlining how it will manage dogs and cats within its municipal boundaries. Our aim is to support a strategic approach toward the promotion of responsible pet ownership and to providing balance to the needs of pet owners and non-pet owners in our community.

Feedback can be provided via the link below, dropped off at Council reception, or emailed direct to: DAMP@southgippsland.vic.gov.au
