Consultation has concluded

The draft Access and Inclusion Action Plan 2026 to 2030 outlines South Gippsland Shire Council's commitment to building a community where everyone can participate, belong and thrive.

This Plan has been created with particular groups in mind who often face barriers to truly participating in our community. These groups include:

  • People with a disability.
  • Carers and support people.
  • Those from the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • People from different cultural and language backgrounds.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Older people and young people.

The Access and Inclusion Action Plan will be used as an internal document, guiding Council staff to help make decisions that improve services.

We encourage everyone in the community to read the draft Plan and complete the survey below to let us know:

  • What is covered well; and
  • Areas we can improve in the Plan.

Feedback closes on Monday 22 June 2026.
