Draft Coal Creek Community Park and Museum Strategic Plan

A Strategic Plan for Coal Creek was identified as a community need and adopted as a Council initiative.

To inform the development of the Plan, Council embarked on a substantial engagement process which obtained feedback via:

• Online survey (322 responses).
• Hard copy surveys at community pop-up events (109 responses).
• Written submissions from individuals and community groups (25 received).
• A Community Assembly comprising 28 people was also formed following invitations that were randomly sent to local residents (5,000 invites distributed). Random stratified sampling was used to select the panel, ensuring the panel had cross regional representation.
• A copy of the Discussion Paper and the Engagement report can be viewed via the 'Documents' tab.

We would like to thank everyone who has provided feedback to date. The views of our community have been at the centre of the development of the Draft Coal Creek Strategic Plan which is now open for community review and feedback.
