Draft Integrated Water Management Plan

Integrated Water Management is, in simple terms, a new way of looking at water management.

It combines the work of multiple authorities and councils who originally looked at separate areas of the water cycle, and will now work together to look at it more holistically.

Traditionally, the water cycle has been split into three key areas:

• Water supply.
• Wastewater.
• Stormwater.

Integrated Water Management recognises the relationship between different sources of water and views of water cycle management, and the needs of local catchments, waterways, communities and industries.

Integrated Water Management in South Gippsland

Integrated Water Management is a first for South Gippsland and we want to hear from you if there is anything missing from the draft Integrated Water Management Plan.
