Consultation has concluded
The opportunity for feedback has now closed. Thank you all so much for helping to shape South Gippsland.
Council would like your feedback on key plans for South Gippsland to ensure they accurately reflect the needs of our community. These plans will influence how we provide services and facilities, both now and in the future.
Significant consultation was undertaken before the plans were developed, including:
• Engagement with over 928 people between December to January • Community survey that received over 2,000 responses.
To view the plans, please click on documents below or in the document section on the right.
Draft Council Plan The Draft Council Plan 2022-2026 is one of Council's most significant documents. It is a requirement under the Local Government Act 2020 – but more than that – it is a foundation document that will guide Council for the next four years. VIEW SUMMARY
Draft Community Vision 2040
A Community Vision is an important document that describes the community's aspirations for the future of the municipality, and helps to guide decision making.
Council's draft budget outlines the broad range of services provided by Council and the investment that we provide into our local community and economy. The budget also lists key projects for the South Gippsland community.
This Plan explains how Council calculates the revenue needed to fund its activities, and how the funding burden will be apportioned between ratepayers and other users of Council facilities and services.
