South Gippsland Shire Council is proposing to build a new Picnic Shelter in Anchor Park, Welshpool.

The proposed location will be next to the sensory garden and will replace the existing Visitor Information Shelter (pictured), which will be demolished.

The design will be similar to the Picnic Shelter in Saggaser Park, Toora.

The new, modern, accessible facility will include the following:

  • New shelter and seating in a different location.
  • Gravel connecting path.
  • Waste bin relocated from the Information Shelter.
  • Infill panels on prevailing weather side.
