Register to be part of an Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee for South Gippsland.
South Gippsland Shire Council is working to ensure that everyone in our community has equal access to public spaces, goods, services and facilities. To achieve this, Council is creating an Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee to provide and guidance on the following:
Access and inclusion issues.
Promoting inclusion, access and equity.
Development of the Access and Inclusion Action Plan.
About the Committee
The Committee will be made up of 15 members - nine community members with lived experience of barriers to access and inclusion, and five organisational representatives who work with access and inclusion issues.
Who Are We Looking For?

People who:
Have lived experience of disability or experience caring for someone with a disability.
Have lived experience of other barriers to inclusion or experience caring for someone with other barriers to inclusion.

Can work as part of a team to reach a goal.
Can think about access and inclusion from many points of view.

We are also excited to hear from organisations:

I'm Interested. What Do I Do Now?
