Consultation has concluded and final document has been adopted.

Thank you for your feedback. The consultation period has now concluded. Come back later for more updates.

The Draft Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan is open for feedback until 5.00pm Sunday 7 August.

This draft Plan aims to be used by Council and organisations that work closely with us to support improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

The Plan brings together community priorities for health and wellbeing, the work of Council and local organisations, and local health and wellbeing data to identify priorities and strategies for the next three years.

During the engagement for our Community Vision and Council Plan, we heard loud and clear how important health and wellbeing is to our community, so we are glad to have a draft ready for your feedback.

What's In the Plan?

  • Five priorities - all of which align with the Victorian Health and Wellbeing Plan, and local organisation strategic and work plans.
  • A range of strategies to guide how organisations will work to improve health and wellbeing over the course of the plan.
  • A localised population focus with some strategies providing additional focus on some population groups experiencing greater inequity in health.
