Have your say on the future of paths and trails in Sandy Point and Venus Bay.
Building on the feedback we heard through the engagement on the Coastal Strategy, we're keen to get your feedback on road safety and how you would like to see pedestrian and bike paths developed in your town.
SANDY POINT For Sandy Point, we are interested in your thoughts on the proposed Loop Track and potential vegetation removal.
Loop Trail, Sandy Point
Along Sandy Point Road from Telopea Drive to Ennisvale Avenue.
Then on-road along Ennisvale Avenue to Graeme Grove.
Then on-road west along Graeme Grove to Beach Parade.
VENUS BAY For Venus Bay, we are interested in your thoughts on a possible connection between Estate 1 and Estate 2 (to provide access into town) and potential vegetation removal. There are three possible options:
Canterbury Road, Venus Bay (WHITE ROUTE)
Begin at the intersection of Lees Road and Canterbury Road.
Extend south east, then east along Canterbury Road to Centre Road.
Extend south along Centre Road.
Terminating at Jupiter Boulevard.
Lees Road and Centre Road, Venus Bay (PINK ROUTE)
Begin at the intersection of Lees Road and Canterbury Road.
Extend east along Lees Road to Centre Road.
Extend south along Centre Road.
Terminating at Jupiter Boulevard.
Lees Road to Jupiter Boulevard (YELLOW ROUTE)
Begin at the intersection of Lees Road and Canterbury Road.
Extend east along Lees Road through to Jupiter Boulevard
While we are yet to secure funding for these projects, your feedback will ensure that we understand your preferences and provide support for future funding applications.
